addicted to change?

Monday's workout: 2.6 miles, focused on maintaining 8:45 min/mile; abs circuit

I have the worst pain in my hamstrings, that's radiating down to my calves. Luckily, today was going to be my "off day", as far as working out. I have a race Sunday, so I'd rather take it easy this week. So I'm rocking my CEP compression socks today! Woop woop!

Instead of working out today ~ I'm getting my hair done! YAY! This mop on my head is driving me bonkers. My hair grows like a weed, so maintaining a "style" means that I have to get it cut at least every 5 weeks. By the 6th week, it is uncontrollable. I'm WAY past the 6th week.

Regardless, after my last post & rounding up those pictures...I realized how frequently I change my hair. I think I'm addicted to change.

Not to be narcissistic...but here's how I've changed it over the past few years:

2006: long hair...

2007: chopped it off, donated it...& went blonde????

Apparently I wanted to be a blonde...

2008: Laid off the blonde coloring, went back to my roots, & opted for the "Posh" cut

2009: started the year off growing out the "Posh"...

then went way dark...

Then ended the year with a shorter do that was dark, but with blonde "under lights"??? (I'm not up on the terminology, but there were blonde streaks hidden throughout the bottom layers)

2010: ditched the dark, went lighter...& a little longer

but then went short again...

2011: i'm over my hair.

Ha, thanks for looking at "The Evolution of My Hair"...I'm open to suggestions!

I seriously love change. I think that's why I'm constantly changing my hair, my workouts, and wanting to always re-decorate things in our house.

Do you like change? Do you hate change?

Willow Smith likes change as well as whipping her hair back & forth....

And Jen just changed her hair...

Doesn't she look amazing for being 42???

So back to me & my narcissistic ways...I'm really excited to change up the do today! I've been LOVING the pixie cuts, but I'm way too nervous to take the plunge. I fear like I'd be mistaken for a boy from behind.

These ladies can pull of the cut though...

I love the convenience of short hair. And luckily, Matty prefers me with short hair versus long hair (unlike most men who ~ I feel like ~ favor long hair).

Well, I'm off to try & focus on my work day, rather than how I'm going to change up my hair :)

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by my blog, I'm following you now :) You may change your hair a lot, but at least you can pull off every single look! I go back and forth between the same 2 cuts: first I grow it out, then I chop off 4 inches, then I grow it out again, then I chop off 4 inches...etc. Not very exciting. haha

Your hair looks SO cute in all images - I wish I had the bravery to chop mine. I've only done it twice in my life and I can recall not being 100% happy but then I look back at the photos I like how I look.

I want to donate my hair so that might be the kick I need. But thank you for the inspiration. I have THICK hair but most of these cuts would look super cool, I hope!

P.S. Jennifer A is awesome and her hair never looks bad *jealousss*
